Watkins has conducted a private workout for the Baltimore Ravens. He has also worked out for the St. Louis Rams, Cincinnati Bengals and the Chicago Bears.

He has visited the San Diego Chargers and the Washington Redskins, also drawing interest from the Green Bay Packers and the New England Patriots.
Although Watkins will be quite seasoned for an NFL rookie, he won't have the normal wear and tear for an offensive lineman since he's only played four years of football.

Washington better not take Watkins. He's one of my favorite OL in the draft and I don't want him ending up in DC.

Even with a big late-1st QB run we'd have to trade quite a bit to get to him, I suspect. Maybe our 2nd and 4th if he made it to 33, if the Pats were interested.

I would rather go with Lackley, cowboys are very interested in him, has more upside and younger. Remember now, Watkins is 26, so what 6 years left to play at a good level?

Did you mean Rackley? If so, I'm not so sure he has more upside than Watkins.

Yeah, I haven't seen a lot of Rackley, but what I've heard is good. I would feel good about that option, but he might cost you a 4th to move up from #71 to get him at the rate he is reportedly risen. Rackley and Ellis (for those that are willing to roll the dice on him) are sounding more like mid-to-late 2nd guys. I hate giving up picks but I don't want to settle for chumps.

Watkins would make a nice addition to one of interior line positions. He looked really good during the Senior Bowl practises.

yeah, I know the Cowboys are interested in him and he is a good player... but Watkins is universally seen as the better prospect and he will be taken at least a full round ahead of where Rackley will go. Watkins is mean as hell and aggressive, which the Cowboys could really use.
I like Rackley, but the only thing he has over Watkins is his age.
