Rush is one of my all time favorites, so this one is way easy for me.

With all these Vs threads I was wondering who Rush was going to get compared to. Let me put it this way. I have seen Rush Live 18 times since 1979 and Yes once. Thats not to say I don't like Yes, they have some pretty unique music, but there is no comparison here.

Rush Trivia: Geddy is not Lee's first name. His real name is Gary. The nick name Geddy comes from Gary's yiddish grandmother who when she pronounces his name comes out sounding like Geddy instead of Gary.

Rush hands down. I saw them both in concert about six years ago and it wasn't even close on how good Rush still is compared to Yes. That and add to the fact that Rush has continued to put out new music and it's Rush in a landslide.

I'm a big fan of both. My first big stadium concert was Yes in the round at the Montreal Forum. Starship Trooper is one of my alltime favs.

However, there is some Yes stuff that I just can't stand and I really can't say that about Rush who I've seen a dozen times at least.

So Rush gets the vote.
