look at their combine number's and its crazy how big and fast they are. I think looking at JJ watt size/speed and strength ratio is amazing. About 6'6 291(about the same size as fairley) but is better in all the drills than fairley. The thing is JJ watt will not need to be baby sat to keep motivated. Now fairley has that toughness that I love but Idk about drafting someone with work ethic problems and people that need to be motivated. When you draft lazy players they just do enough to get by and do not really try to get better and better. Cameron Jordan running a 4.7 at his size is amazing. He is about fast as brady james and he has brady by about 30 lbs. Insane. I also love his passrushing moves.

Wow these guys are a lot closer in workouts than I thought. Fairley by the work outs is not quite on par with the other 2.

any one know where I can get there college stats? I would love to see how close their production was to one another,

If someone could post I would really appreciate it.

thanks

In games, Fairley still has another gear those guys just don't have. I'm an engineer, I know numbers, sometimes numbers can be rated too high. Sometimes its not all about numbers, but how they actually do on the field.

Football is such a team game, so you also have to evaluate how they played along with what they faced on the OL and how the player was defended by the oline. Its an inexact science, but putting combine numbers up doesn't even come close to evaluating players.

I'd pluck Fairley at 9 and count myself lucky. I still can't get that National Championship performance out of my head.

Watt and Jordan are still very good players, and I wouldn't complain if either was selected after a trade-down. But Fairley was just dominant at times, and if he performs similarly at the NFL level.. well, let's just say players like that are at a premium.

i wouldn't mind him at all; especially at 14 if we traded with the Rams and Tyron was gone

Yeah, I too see us trading down and picking either Jordan or Watt.
