It isn't really annoying. It's just dumb.

It's not like it has any real effect on my day whatsoever, but when I come to this forum and see this crap, it's like this place has been taken over by ten year olds...I feel like I'm playing xbox live with pre-pubes when I come here lately.

If it's so amusing for some of the members maybe there should be consideration for a sub-forum dedicated to "Vs"...so that the rest of us that aren't interested in the worn out joke can continue to enjoy "off-topic" threads...some of which have been around for a very long time and are now pushed 2-3 pages back to make room for the 40-50 "vs" threads. Just a suggestion.

I sort of agree, in a way. When they're created to the point where discussion gets watered down and they quickly fall from the first page is when it's overboard imo.
