Used to be. Pbr has become the official beer of hipsters with non prescription eye glasses

It's not big with anyone in my part of the country - only found in some liquor stores that carry a wide variety of beer.

I hear ya. I'm relatively young though and was recently in college. the hipsters love of pbr there was comical

I'm older and I remember natural light as the first light beer, and it was only cool with older women as far as I could tell at the time. It took the "Tastes Great! Less Filling!" Miller Lite celebrity commercials to make light beer cool.

Haha I suppose by the time I would even consider drinking the light beer was what most everyone drank.

YEah, if you were recently in college that is true. When I was in college was about the time the conversion to light beer was starting to get traction. Miller Lite was huge, although as a poor college student I often had to shoose cheaper alternatives. Within 5-6more years the conversion was complete, and light beer was dominating the domestic beer market. This would have been mid 1980's.
