Hostile, I love your post by the way. Thank you for all the great info. you bring to this board. It seems like MB is on the way out, have you heard who they like in the draft to replace him?

Even if you like Tashard, you still need a 3rd RB. And especially if you consider Choice isn't signed for much longer. Nothing wrong with grabbing a back in the 5th and beyond depending on who falls.

I hear ya, but I think RB would be the last of my concerns heading into the draft unless you're going for a guy like Taiwan Jones and just trying to catch lightning in a bottle.
I wouldn't even spend a 5th round pick on a "Barber Replacement", there will be short yardage guys or 3rd backs available in UDFA.

I just don't think Garrett likes his game.
But he's likely our 2 next year -- we still need a third guy as it will be hard to count on Felix for more than, say, 250 touches

we can get half way decent RB as UDFA
or in FA
at least as good as Choice an L Miller

heres a name for you
Johnny White RB NC 5-10 #210
White returned to tailback this season after two years as a cornerback and wide receiver. He had his best season with 720 rushing yards on 130 attempts, and also had 288 yards receiving on 24 catches. He averaged 6.5 yards every time he touched the ball this year

I dont think Garrett likes him either. I suspect Peete doesnt too.
If we had a CBA in place, he's one of the guys I think would be traded next weekend.
It wont surprise me a bit if they draft a guy who can replace both Barber and Choice.

Have to admit, as a power back, I still like A Bradford out of USC.
If I remember correctly, the Cowboys have shown interest in S Ridley and D Murrey and B Powell for sure.
I'm forgetting a name or two at that position, however.

Wouldn't touch RB until the 6th/7th personally. You might be able to find a FA for cheap as well.

Just taking a shot in the dark here, but I would imagine if he had any confirmed info regarding who we were targeting to replace him with then he would have put that info in the giant "what im hearing about the draft" thread.....Again just a wild guess.
