I agree on Fairley falling far.
Quinn falls to Houston and they can't resist taking him.
Dallas takes Aldon Smith at 14.
New England ends up with Ingram in the first.

Tyron Smith does a mini Winston Justice and lasts until at least pick 20

Andy Dalton goes first round to a team that trades into the last 5 picks or so

We trade back and take Pouncey. The third rounder we acquire in the deal is inactive most of next year and never does crap, fueling the kind of "we shoulda taken" talk that this board lives off.

We dont go O-line in the 1st

Collin Keapernick goes in the top 20

Bowers goes in the top 15 despite the talk of a free fall.

Half of the board will hate the 1st round pick, or trade down on principle. Much ranting and raving.

The other half will tell them that because Jerry did it, it's a good business decision, DEAL WITH IT!!

They will eventually succumb to that logic, and climb on the bandwagon, except for the staunch 10% who remain vehemently opposed to the player or trade.

And the threads about the controversy will rage on for years.

I've started loading up on 3 days of food for the Draft.

Wife and kids are out of town that week . . . . everything set up perfectly to focus on a successful draft. :)

If there are teams stupid enough to draft that many QBs in the first rd when realitistically there are maybe two, then it maybe a good thing for us. To me the only clear first rd choice is Gabbert. After that none of them should be taken until the second rd.

Goose will grade Dallas' draft with a "C+"

Dallas will take a player that most will have never heard of...similar to Crayton, Hatcher or Waldon.

Dallas will take a player at a position that we scratch our heads at ala TE in the later rounds.

The Redskins will take a QB in round 1, who in 5 years will be giving motivational speeches to teenagers, while living in a van......down by the river

I wish I could send my family away for the week. My wife is dreading the draft. She knows I will do nothing around the house, not listen to a word she says and insist all meals be eaten in the living room until the draft is over.

I predict that Dallas will trade back to the late teens, snag Watt. Then, trade back into the late 1st to take a Carimi/Sherrod.

I don't like knowing there is a chance my prediction is wrong, so I predict 32 players will be taken in the 1st round. ;)

This year will set a record number of trades due to teams wanting to get their guy due to the lockout and impending uncertainty.

A complete CZ meltdown if we go TE or QB in the first round.

I think we pick two offensive linemen and one corner/safety in the first four rounds.

There will be a minimum of 10 comments from posters watching the warroom cam, who will post, "WHY ISN'T JERRY DOING ANYTHING??? WHY ISN'T HE WORKING THE PHONES??? OH GAWD, HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING!!! WHAT IS HE WAITING FOR??? A PIZZA???" or something along those lines.

That's wishful thinking, you know the Cowboys don't draft that way. We're far more likely to see a backup OLB, a 4th TE and a backup QB in the 1st 4 rounds than actually getting our needs addressed early. :laugh2:

You have to think positive for positive things to happen. I wouldn't surprise me if we picked a DE, QB and WR in the first four rounds either.

I'd prefer TE or QB over drafting WR again. I hate drafting WR's high :bang2:

1)Dallas will trade up or down (probably down) 2) If they pick at 9 they will take Fairley if he is available3) Fairley will be off the board in the 1st 6 picks4)Our 1st pick will be Watt at about 12 #5) we will take two defensive players in round 2or 3.
