People keep saying patriots need a DE but they forgot the patriots really needs an OLB that can rush the passer. I think they could trade with us to get robert quinn if he is their or aldon smith (knowing the texans might want him at 11).
I think we might can swing a deal with them but idk if we would want to drop back that far but what if they offer their 1st rounder pick 17 and their 2nd 2nd rounder? I think we will still be in prime position to take a OT, DE, or even pouncey.
But i like what they had on nfl network saying in the 2nd round, if we go defense in the first, we can pick OT carpenter.
would you do the patriot trade if it can net use a 2nd rounder also?

They would have to sweeten a deal if it was #60 in the 2nd. They can package 28 and 33 to move up pretty high again or take what basically amounts to 3 first round picks simply by doing nothing.

I think it is a no brainer unless Patrick Peterson or Marcell Dareus some how manage to get down to 9.

yeah the patriots I feel has a lot of power in this draft by having so many picks. I would love that deal though.
then we would have 2 second rounders to catch players that drop.

I think if I were the Hoodie I would try to move into the top 10 using #60 and other picks if I had to. Then I would stand pat at 28 and 33 and let 2 good players come to me. A potential blue chipper and two 1st round guys. I'd take that and smile, smile, smile.

yeah I seen the game where the patiots made colt mccoy look like Romo in week 9 when the patriots played the browns. They hardly got any pressure on colt mccoy.
They really need someone to get after the QB much more than a 3-4 DE.

Yeah, everyone says Julio Jones, but I could see Quinn if he started falling.

It looked more like Browns need some good WRs.

They would be happy with Jones or Quinn, but I'll give you a sleeper pick as someone who could go higher than expected in Aldon Smith.

exactly I think quinn might be gone by 9 but aldon smith (who alot of experts is comparing him to demarcus ware:eek: ) might be their for the patriots who tries to jump up to get pass houston to take him. He can be their McGinest.

no way i trade down to 17 without at least #33 if smith is there at 9 because by trading down to 17, it is very likely that we could lose out on smith, costanzo, watt, and jordan
not worth it for #60 IMO

I'm not sure. It looks right on the surface.
I would absolutely love this.

Wow! Four premium picks....this could net us four major contributors.
17: Costanzo? Probably wayyy too low.
33: Aaron Williams
60: Ellis
71: Rackley
Another pipe dream. But lots of interesting options.
