The Cowboys' secondary has been a sore spot for years. This former Longhorn could help shore it up at either cornerback or safety, depending on where Dallas needs him most.

Williams as a safety. I'm all for it.

not sure i see this pick, with FA starting maybe on Monday i expect Huff to be a 'boy by Tuesday night.

First off supposedly the Cowboys think that Williams can be a CB in the NFL. And secondly, even if he can't be, what is wrong with putting Huff at SS (assuming we do get him, while very likely it is not a 100% guarantee) and let Williams play FS if we see Williams as a safety....

I don't think Williams is ready to start at CB or FS so they will still need Huff. Gte Huff and put Williams in as a Nickel CB for this year and transition him to FS or CB. I would rather have Harris but WIlliams will replace Scandrick day one for sure.
