I've heard two different reports that they like Ryan.

Mikel Leshoure. Might be the next Steven Jackson. Workhorse.

I would take Taiwan Jones later.

D Murray could be there in the 4th as well.

I love Ryan Williams, but I want to fill that safety need first. Steven Ridley out of LSU and Damien Berry out of Miami look good in the later rounds.

I agree since it seems Barber will be gone.......we need a tough yardage guy who will make the play and not turn it over.:)

how big and fast is ryan williams he seems like felix jones or is he a big back with power that runs downhill.

If we take a RB, I might murder someone.

I rather have mikel leshoure he seems more of a down hill runner with power and alittle speed aka steven jackson. He can do it all.
6 feet and about 230 his ten yard dash is 1.53 which shows burst
he is something like mendenhall but you can get him in round 2. I think he even broke the schools rushing record (mendenhall I think went to the same school).

He's 5'9 202 and runs the 40 in the low 4.5's. So he's neither a powerful back or a burner. He is versatile and was very productive in college. The question with him is whether his lack of size and elite speed will translate to the nfl. Personally I would stay away from him at #40.

i would too.
I rather have leshoure there if Garrett and Co. decide to go running back to get more physical.

If Dallas were to take a RB I would hope he would be a big body short yardage type runner, someone we can put out there on those 3rd and 1 or 2 and or goal line. Allen Bradford at 5'11" 242 and tough between the tackles would be a good compliment to Felix. Would not look to RB though until late in the draft

There's only room for one starting RB...that's Felix.
The kid from Tech would be a great short yardage and 3rd down back. He runs hard with violence for short yardage, and he has great hands and is good in the open field.
I'd dump MBIII and let this kid fight Choice for the #2 spot.

Why? We need a RB...maybe not in round 2, but we definitely need help in short yardage and on 3rd down.

I don't like the idea of RB, especially since Jerry is talking about wanting his third RB to play special teams. That's just not worth a second round pick, and considering how long it took to get Felix regular carries, I can only imagine is taking 2-3 years for any RB we draft now.

I agree, however I would look to the later rds to find that role player. A guy who can come in on short yardage or goal line who can push the pile

speaking of allen bradford I like the video's i seen of him (youtube scouting :D ) he is big, tough, breaks tackles and looks to have some deceptive speed like brandon jacob. I think we can get him in prolly the 4th or maybe the 5th which would be great value.

i wonder how garrett feels about choice idk if he likes him that much. He could be on the "on the way out" list.

Like R.Will, Really like Leshoure, but I feel we could get a steal late 3rd or tomorrow in the 4th with D. Murray. Extremely underrated in my eyes

I was thinking along the lines of 5 ot 6. I do think if Dallas is not going to keep Barber that it would be wise to find a short yardage guy

I lile ryan williams. Saw him as a feshman against bama when he broke off about a 35 yd run against saban's defense. Got to the corner and he was flying. He's been injured but when healthy he is a weapon!

Leshoure. He's a workhorse and that's what Garrett I believe is looking for. Pound it down there throats

this is what i was thinking....might be 2 running backs...idk if they like choice too much....too pretty to play special teams.

Maybe Garrett wants "his guys" and doesn't feel that the 3 they have are really guys that work with what he wants to do..after all they all have to have one single skill set but not all of them. So you take a back you think can be the guy.

I thought Felix was Garrett's choice,i still think we will be ok with Felix and choice.
