Dude is not happy with Seattle's draft and is not afraid to say it.

I really like Dilfer. Straight shooter and won't hesitate to speak his mind.

Hope he is right about our 4th rounder.

Dilfer does his homework and does a really nice job.

Herm Edwards on the other hand is annoying as all get out.

Yes, he is pretty good. Which means he won't last long. Because he makes sense, and doesn't seem to bag on the Cowboys.

I hope he doesn't post on SeahawksZone.

Paraphrase: I believe he said he thought he could be a future star.

I thought that about Dilfer years ago. Hes definitely been a Cowboys fan but I would think he is the best analyst going right now either way. He does so much homework and film room stuff you really learn things from him.

He can be in the business for decades doing games or whatever he wants

I agree, I don't think their draft was all that good either, especially since they may have reached for Carpenter so early.

But they did get Mark LeGree :(

He couldn't reiterate enough that he's got Seattle in him and is not bashing because he dislikes Seattle.

He just said it hurts to watch a team fail to do anything positive. Pretty sure he said something about the other teams in that division getting better and Seattle just sitting still.

Totally agree.

Dilfer has passion without being insane.

Edwards needs to be on meds. It seems like he's playing some part on an SNL skit. Just a crazy demeanor.

Pete Carroll always marches to his own beat. I was dumbfounded that they reached for Carpenter that early.

That would have been so damn funny if that had happened. I'd probably find the clip of it, save it to my computer, and watch it daily if he'd said that.

Some would argue he already is.

Yes he is. What did he ever do as a head coach besides run 2 franchises in the ground?

Would you say that Dilfer is a "straight shooter with upper management potential"?

Yes, I love it. We all love Dilfer when he's got positive things to say about Dallas.

However, the second he criticizes someone on the team, he becomes that garbage-heap of a QB that lucked his way into a Super Bowl, lol.

Sounds about right.

Not by me. I don't mind if he says something negative about us, because then it really exists. Unlike Jamie Dukes and Marshall Faulk who just make up stuff. When talking about our first round pick, Dukes said "we all know they had trouble at LT last year". Ummm, when did that happen??

Dilfer says what he sees, not what gets ratings.

I dunno. Why? Someone say that?

It's a line from Office Space. Funny movie.

This, exactly. I respect the hell out of what Dilfer says. He might not have been the best quarterback, but man can he bring the encyclopedia of football and his passion for the game to the dinner table of the fan who wants to eat it up. He once did a play call on air, showing how complex every single play call is. Great TV there.

By far my favorite analyst out there, and second place isn't even close.
