Very nice so far from Miami.
Ron Simmons showing up to give his trademark (COWBOYSZONE-CENSORED-WORD-THAT-EVERYBODY-SAYS) word was awesome.
I'm sure I'll get yet another infraction for no reason for this post.
Oh well.

I feel ya there bro.
I only really caught the last match and the final skit when Rock came out and had Vince come grovel at his feet and Mya come sing, but that entire scene was corny and pathetic as anything. Just 15 minutes of groveling at the Rocks feet and some bimbo coming out to sing happy birthday to him?
Really? This is not and will never be the same WWE until someone can give them some real competition again. Im so over this new marketing strategy, so bad.

I can understand your frustration, I really do, but it's not a bad strategy cause he's obviously making money with it.
Bad for you? Guess so. Bad for Vince and his company? Nope.

Ok I watched the video for all the segments with The Rock and I have to say I pretty much enjoyed it all. Some silly, cheesy, stuff but that's ok. It made me laugh and was entertaining.
I really wish he'd comeback full time. I'd seriously start watching on a weekly basis, start to finish, if he did.

I have to say I enjoyed all the backstage stuff...that stuff makes me laugh and Rock made it even better. The stuff with Vince was lame though.
They are going to have to do something with Cena to make their match one to watch though..
Oh yea. Kong/Kharma. No difference in her from TNA at all. That is one big girl.

Ditto.
I'd like to see him in some sort of match before WM28 though.

I still say he should come back to face the Undertaker at WM28.

Honestly.. i love the Rock, but how some of you people actually enjoyed that Raw last night is beyond belief to me.
I thought for sure when Vince came out there would at least be some confrontation or something. ****** it was 2 hours straight of "i respect you, i love you man, thank you, thank you, no, thank YOU, etc.."
Come on man.. this is NOT wrestling. No one is a bad *** anymore, every program is just, "hey i respect you and its going to be a great time" and then they dress the midget up as something stupid or put a dress on somebody and finish off the program with another after school special public service announcement by the Rock on how to "bring it" in your everyday lives.
Good Lord.. :(

He won't IMO ..he makes way too much money making movies and he's probably having tons of fun; gets to spend more time with his little daughter and all that stuff. I wish he would come back too but Rock has had a lifetime of professional wrestling..his grandfather, his dad, his cousins. I think he got out when he wanted to..on his terms..and he's going to work some WWE stuff like this WM and Raws or whatever but a full schedule I can't see happening. Would be nice though. Rock is very entertaining..he has tons of charisma.

Then there should be no issues..don't watch who you don't like or what you don't. I use to sit thru a bunch of stuff watching it live and then I had a DUH moment and then started DVR'ing all the shows. It's saved me a lot of wasted time watching stuff and wrestlers I don't care much for. I FF thru the entire Cena/Miz match...I did watch that Kane/ new Nexus guy. He is a clone of Batista....

Its not like i know what's going to happen before i watch it.. as i said, I love The Rock, but most of his segments lately have been terrible.
EDIT: Mason Ryan (Batista clone) seems like he's about to get a big push.

That Ryans guy looks like a monster..only one thing bothered me about him the other nite..he huffs and puffs too much like he's going to blow that house down! Cut down on the dramatic facial expressions dude....
He looks so much like Batista to me. Body type particularly. Good writing for them to have Kane and Big Show put him over. I wonder if he wrestles really stiff though being so muscular and all. How athletic is he? Guess we'll find out.
Standing next to Punk he made Punk look like a little boy.

I thought, and I could be wrong, that when they showed Rocks family Monday night that I saw his wife there. I thought I read, or heard, or whatever that they got divorced? Are they not divorced or was that not her I thought I saw there with his mother and stuff?

That was his ex wife..good eyes. Rock has said they are the best of friends even as a divorced couple. Which is good news for the sake of their young daughter.

I knew she use to be..well interesting that she still is. And makes sense really...they were together for years as a couple and obviously she does a great job because he's very successful and I'm sure there is a comfort there for him knowing she has his back.

Will be interesting if Batista comes back..they would be a big time tag team if either wanted to do that.

Ahhh thanks for the info.
Good for them being able to be true adults and not be petty for their child. That's awesome.
