Undersized at 5-foot-7, 179 pounds, Devine struggled with a toe injury last season and rushed for 934 yards and six touchdowns as a senior.

"I'm healthy now," Devine said in a telephone interview prior to the NFl draft. "I'm ready to go. I've always had the odds against me. I'll prove myself all over again, no matter what. Don't ever count me out

Any cowboys interest, since cowboys drafted Murray? :starspin

Heck yeah, would love to bring him to camp. See if he could win the kickoff and punt return jobs. Not sure he could be much more than that though.

I wouldn't want him simply because Deion took him under his wing.

Less Deion, better.

can he catch....he could be someone's McCluster clone....but we have no more room on our roster for him. Someone like the eagles might pick him up.

I'm guessing someone takes him.

And Deion was considering adopting him, and deion wanted him to play at Florida State...and Noel promptly said no and left Deion to go play at WVU.

The more you know...the better. :)

I'll admit, I haven't followed the kid, but I could've sworn I watched some ESPN special (or something) that documented how Deion took the kid under his wing and was his role model, consultant, etc. Something about Noels parents had both died of AIDS, or something.

And I saw that after Noel was already playing at WV.

If he is not affiliated with Deion, then I'm open to it.

But really, I don't want any further affiliation with Deion at all.

Originally Deion took Noel into his home. He also tried to convince him to go to Florida state and was also trying to adopt Noel.

Noel took Deion's Wifes car to the airport and flew to WVU and has played there since.

Now I am sure they keep in touch but he does not have as much influence of Noel as some think. If so he would have stayed in Florida and would be Deion's legal son now.

I don't like Deion, don't get me wrong...but Noel is not Deion's puppet.

Either way if they sign him, it will be as an UDFA, not like he will be commanding a lot of money or wielding a lot of power just because he might still have ties with deion.

But Deion will talk about him, and probably be around the team.

I'd rather watch puppies get skinned alive that see Deions stupid smile near our team.
