Redskins beat writer Rich Tandler has also heard talk of Vince Young in the nation's capital, so the smoke is building here. Due a $4.25 million bonus in addition to his $8.5 million salary, Young is likely to be released rather than traded.

The funniest part of this entire thing is that if you ask the majority of the Red Skin fan base, they would tell you that if given the chance, they would never ever sign Romo..................

I'd take Romo in a heartbeat, and I know Shanny would to.

There's fire to this Vince Young stuff. But he wouldn't be handed a starting job.

Would compete with Grossman and Beck (who we traded for last year).

Yeaah...and the Skins were supposed to be trading the farm in order to move up to the #2 spot to draft Gabbert....and then of course Gabbert falls right into our laps at the #10 spot, without the Skins needing to move to get him...and they trade down instead lol.

And the Skins were supposed to be "pulling up the Brinks truck" to sign Peppers last offseason, with Snyder spending like it was "Monopoly money"...remember how you all laughed and proclaimed that "Lil Danny Snyder hasn't changed"...and we ended up never even trying to sign the guy, while Snyder's wallet stayed closed the entire time lol.

And a trade involving Haynesworth was "imminent" and was gonna take place on the 2nd day of the draft last year...JLC on the NFL network standing with his mic on, looking the audience in the eye, telling them to get ready for an announcement involving Haynesworth...and we ended up keeping the rotten ******* on the roster, no trade whatsoever, imminent or not lol.

So you'll forgive me for not giving THIS particular rumor any benefit of the doubt ;)...

Unless you're the type to find consistency funny ...

Wow, I guess you missed the McNabb trade huh? :lmao2: :lmao:

Only in Washington will accolades be thrown about when the team doesn't totally screw up.

Considering our current Qb situation - or lack-there-of, actually warming up to the idea, Mobile QB in Shanahans bootleg friendly system hmm...

I would love it if the Skins got that headcase of a QB.

If they thought watching McNabb throw balls into the dirt all day was bad wait till they get Vince going in there and doing even less than that.

That would be awesome.
