What is your most memorable Cowboys game attended and why?
I am a Washington, DC native who, as a graduating HS student, doesnt have the means to buy tickets to Dallas-Redskins games let alone travel down to dallas for one. They are almost impossible to come by in gift-form because its such a huge game here each year. But last year, for the 2nd matchup between the teams, my friend volunteered to take me and I was overjoyed. It was maybe the ugliest evening of the year in our area that day. Fog, sleeting rain, bitter cold, gusting winds. Our seats were so bad that if you walked 6 rows above where we were sitting (endzone section 444), you could peer over the edge of the top rim of the stadium and look down at the parking lot. It was so foggy/drizzly that you couldnt see the nosebleed seats directly across the stadium from us. It was such an ugly day and near the end of such an ugly season for the skins, that the stadium was less than half full. If there were 25,000 fans there, 15,000 were cowboys fans. The 4:00 start time meant that a similiar ratio of fans had been "preparing" for the game for the better part of the day. This created an atmosphere of taunting hostility between the two factions of fans that would be tough to recreate. As the game was put out of reach by the dominating defensive efforts of terrence newman and the d line, and an uncharacteristicly spectacular day by t-ham, most of the redskins fans began filing out. Around the third quarter, all the dallas fans in the stadium descended to the lower level to get closer to the field.
I have been a part of many great sporting events, as participator and spectator, but I'd have to say the next half hour ranked close to the top. It happened as dallas was mopping up in the fourth. Scattered at first, the cheer began. Slowly and gradually, but unmistakeably, it rose in volume. Soon, FedEx field, home of the Washington Redskins, pride of Danny Snyder, was rocking with the resounding chant of "LETS GO COWBOYS." Those of us close enough to the field began to make use of the abundant snow caked in the aisles from the week's snowstorm to pelt the Redskin's bench. A couple cheerleaders got hit. Then Tony Siragusa. A guy with a major league arm hit spurrier square in the back (and was soon escorted out as we all cheered). After the final whistle blew, i got to lean over the tunnel and exchange high fives with my cowboy heroes Roy, Q, Terrence, Dat, and Dexter. A night most redskins fans involved would just as soon forget, but one i'll always remember. Final: Dallas 27, Deadskins 0.

well unfortunately i've only been to one regular season game. it was "the bounty bowl" game against buddy ryan's eagles and we lost 27-0 on thanksgiving day in '89. i was 9 years old and i'll never forget seeing that blue star in the middle of the field live for the 1st time. it was awesome.

Tough call but I'll go with Carolina this year at Texas Stadium.
My first game as an adult was a beatdown of the Eagles back when they had Cunningham. Emmitt had a very nice game.
I see about 3 games per season in person since moving back from college with the exception of 2 years ago because the IT economy blew and I couldnt afford to snag tickets.
I went to a strike game as well.

I've been to the 2001 opener vs. Tampa Bay, the 2002 San Francisco game, and last year's Cardinals game. I would have to rank the Cardinals game at the top. The stadium has never been anywhere near as loud as it was during the defensive stands leading to the two safeties.
I went to Del Frisco's and had one of the best steaks of my life on that trip as well. If it hadn't been for Emmitt all over the airwaves crying about soccer, it would have been the perfect trip.

My first game at the beloved Texas Stadium was this past year. It was the first game against the Fecals, I mean Eagles.
When RW ran back the onsides kick for a TD in 3 sec, the place went absolutely nuts!!! Philly still made a game of it, but our defense held and won the game for us.
Ironically the sweetest pass of the day was Ritchie Anderson throwing a gorgeous bomb to Joey Galloway that set up the score that put us up over Philly.
It was great first game I was ever priveleged to go to, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. I felt electricity in the air. Texas Stadium is truly a beautiful place (esp w/ all those cheerleaders on the sidelines :D )

i've been to 2 cowboy games... both in 2001.. one was preseason.. other was reg season.. both were VS the raiders in oakland.... and my experience sucked cause anytime emmitt would get the ball the jack @ss behind me would yell "break his leg" cause i was wearing my emmitt jersey.. one of my favorite plays of the 2 games was a fake field goal.. tim seder ran it in... boy did that shut the fans up :D
i'm a new member of the dallas community.. so hopefully i'll be able to visit MANY games this season... see lots of hits by Roy williams.. hopefully lots of sacks by the D Line too

I have yet to go to a game at Texas Stadium, but I aim to do so before they move... but as far as Cowboys games go, I'd have to say the 1987 game at RFK was by far the most raucous game I have ever been to, (and I was at the game in Philadelphia right after the strike in '87). Anyway, my most vivid memory was Danny White dropping back in the 3rd quarter I think it was, and the Cowboys get called for false start but Neil Olkewicz[sp] comes charging through anyway and plants Danny in the soggy turf. Danny wasn't having any of that, so he gets up, grabs Olkewicz by the facemask and flips him over his leg, and not only does everyone else on the field jump into it, but guys from both sidelines come out onto the field, and I distinctly remember Eugene Lockhart who had broken his leg the week before coming out onto the field with a SUIT on limping out there with his cane getting ready to give someone a taste of that wood... Oh man that place was going nuts!!! The Cowboys lost that game, but a lot of people gained a whole new respect for Danny White that day...

My favorite game was the only one I've been to. I was at the Giants game at Texas Stadium this past year. It was sureal after all these years watching the boys on tv, actually getting to see them live. When they first ran onto the field, with the fireworks and crowd getting crazy LOUD......something I'll NEVER forget. Plus I got to see Witten's first touchdown :)

Tampa Bay at Dallas on October 9, 1983. Dallas won 27-24 in overtime and Roger Staubach was inducted into the Ring of Honor at halftime. He rode around the stadium in a convertible waving at the fans. I've seen the Cowboys play several times but that was the only time I got to see them in Texas Stadium. I was 15 years old and will never forget it.

NY Giants @ Dallas this past year. GREAT to see Dallas get to the playoffs and capturing the water cooler dunking of Parcells on the sideline w/ my camera was priceless. Something I'll never forget. Plus, i met Bob Lilly that day!

I have two that stand out. One good and one bad.
First the good...
Christmas day 1995, Cowboys vs. the Cardinals. Emmitt Smith broke the single season touchdown record. It was Buddy Ryan's last game as Cardinals Head Coach. I had a sign that said "Stupid is as Buddy does." Larry Centers hurdled a Dallas tackler and it made all the highlight films. They were filming parts of the move Jerry McGuire at that game. deion Sanders was swiping footballs, getting Cowboys players to autograph them and giving them to kids in wheelchairs who were sitting behind the Cowboys bench. I thought that was really cool. People can hate Deion all they want. That was a very decent thing to do for those kids and I hope he goes into the HOF as a Cowboy. After the game I met Aeneas Williams, flipped off Barry Switzer, got high fived by Emmitt on the way to the team bus.
Now the bad...
The Sidelines blow up at Jerry Jones. I am still angry that I paid for that game and want my money back. Worst football I have ever seen. I wanted to put my eyes out.

Hostile, I was at both of those games as well. I had forgotten about that X-Mas day game. It might have to be a tie with my other one.
The 'blowup' game has to be one of the worst experiences of my life.

Very cool. The only thing I hated was I was closer to the other endzone than the one Emmitt scored in.
I was mad for weeks after the blowup game. It took Emmitt passing Walter to get me happy again.

My first Cowboys game was at KC during our 1-15 season. I was up in the nose-bleed section with other Boy's fans.
They were up from Texas and were complaining about trading Walker, I said that the trade will put us in the Super Bowl in 3 years. Man I wish I could do that with Powerball.
I went to Dallas when they played KC in 92.
I've been to every game here in Arizona since 96 except Carter's melt down game in 2002.

Well, lets see...I've attended two games so far
@Arizona in 2002
and
Thanksgiving against Miami last year.
I'd say the best moment was driving back to Tucson from Dallas, and getting pulled over by the Highway Patrol who let us off with a warning because "after that game I think you boys have suffered enough."

Titans AT Dallas, Sept. 15, 2002. We won the game 21-13. I live here in Deadskin territory, and have went to my share of Cowboys/Redskins Cowboys/Ravens games; but this was my first chance to fly out to Dallas and watch my boys play in their own backyard. Best part of it was, this was our 1st wedding anniversary, and the wife agreed to the trip. Had a great time in Dallas and topped it off by going to the game and watching my boys get one of our 5 wins that season.
Looking forward to being at the Cowboys/Ravens games this year on 11/21. I'm gonna try and make it to the 9/27 game versus the deadskins as well.
