I love how Skins fans get satisfaction out of saying the Beat Dallas on a regular basis.......only a Skins fan can watch their beloved losers ....lose 4 out of the last 5 games played vs their rivals and call it 'Beating them on a regular basis.....How many of you guys post and/or get into it with them on that site? Just curious after reading 18 pages of blasting Ware for being an average player that benefits only because of "scheme" and now all the sudden that they beat Dallas on a regular basis....im afraid to spend too much time reading over there, it will burn your brain cells by the second.

I've actually gone to that site and it's HILARIOUS the things they talk about. Their obsession with us has no boundaries. They call Cowboys fans "bandwagon fans", even though we haven't one squat in 15 yrs (1 playoff game isn't much). Correct me if I'm wrong, but a "bandwagon fan" is a fan of a team ONLY if they're winning, right? Thought so.

Then they say stuff like "have you even been to dallas?", but turn around and praise Mathew McConn-a-howeveryouspellit, a native Texan, for being a Redskins fan. They are truly the dumbest collective of fans in the league.

Ours give them a run for their money, frankly.

I once read a thread on there about baseball that made my IQ drop. This one joker on there compared the Orioles to the Cowboys in terms of his hatred lol.

You don't have to be on a forum for that crap. I got that all the freaking time in person while living in Alexandria, VA and working in DC for a year. Drove me crazy.

I plan on visiting DC. I can't wait for the first person to say that to me. Maybe I should just wear the infamous "**** you I'm from Texas" shirt. Haha.

Just make sure the word "Texas" is misspelled so they REALLY know you're from there lol ;)...

Seriously, though, was this thread started by TonyRomoProBowl from ES? lol...the thread wasn't about taking joy in beating the Cowboys regularly...it was about whether or not the preseason football mags would come out at their usual time since the lockout is still in effect.

The usual Cowboys fan drivel came out of only one Dallas fan over there, and he promptly claimed that predicting the Skins to suck was a "no brainer" and "easy" to do "because they will".

I said in response "Which has made beating the over-rated and mega-hyped Cowboys season after season that much sweeter"...and that "having the "lowly" Redskins beat them on a regular basis just underscores how over-rated and mediocre that team really is."

The rest was an argument in semantics about what "regular basis" should mean lol...that's all it was.

And for the record he acknowledged that later: "Semantics or not, one could gather that by splitting with the Dallas Cowboys, the Skins win (on average) at least 1 game a year VS Dallas for the past 6 seasons therefore in their eyes they do in fact beat the Cowboys on a regular basis ......"...He then went on to say that he personally would not make that claim until the Cowboys have swept the Redskins for 12 years straight or however long it would take lol...

He was the only Cowboys fan bothering to put down the Redskins on ES in that thread...and yes, I was the only Skins fan who bothered to try and get him to see that "regular basis" does not just mean "sweeping the Cowboys every year for 6 years".

That was it. The end lol.

I'm not picking one side or the other with my statement. We just have a ton of whiney fans with unrealistic expectations who go off half-cocked at the drop of a hat. Some of them are homers, and some have their heads fully up their butts, but that's neither here nor there.

Redskins fans are delusional, and not generally very bright, but they're loyal.

Packer fans bug me, too, but I won't say anything more about them this offseason.

Stealer fans may be the worst. But Cowboy fans aren't all that far behind. We're not really an impressive bunch.

Yeah, bugged me when Willie Parker said Skins fans don't care. Skins fans pretty loyal.

Not that we don't care, just kinda fatigued from all the losing - and most importantly, a decade of incompetence. He's used to Pittsburgh. Guarantee you, if this town was winning like the Steelers do, DC area would be on fire.

Turning the corner - I think/hope. Best thing they did was get rid of Vinny Ceratto, but gotta blame the man who hired him, then fired him, and then brought him back to run the show again: Dan Snyder. Even when Gibbs was here, he stuck by Vinny and Dan; let them play fantasy football.

When Zorn was here, Vinny tried to trade two first rounders for Chad Ochocino - and he was on the air bragging about it the other day! WTH

Got football people running the show, now (Shanahan and Bruce Allen). But so much damage has been done, they've got a lot of work to do. We drafted more players than anyone in the league, if 4-5 of those players end up being starters, will be a successful draft.

One thing about those Shanahan Denver teams, they were almost as aggressive as the skins in free agency/trades, however, they also drafted - and to a smaller degree, same could be said about the Patriots and Cowboys.

Mike spent time watching the Patriots in the season he was jobless. They'll likely run a system similar to the Patriots - ie lots of draft picks, aggressive in FA (not overspending), and aggressive with trades etc..

1st year they had to see what they had, and Mcnabb trade a horrible decision.

Two things that have haunted skins over last decade, QB and Kicker (we lost a game last year with a missed extra point lol).
If we had a kicker when Norv was here, he'd likely still be the coach.
