View Full Version : DirecTV: No charge for Sunday Ticket until season is confirmed
So, it is getting close to that time of year when Direct TV starts to ship those NFL ticket bills. Ahh...you know the 6 easy payments of $59.99. I am wondering what Direct TV's plans are this year with the lockout ongoing? Personally, If I get a bill, I plan on not to pay until the deal is done. Direct TV like the NFL has monopoly going. They are not getting my money until the deal is done. I wish that someone would challenge that agreement because they have us over a barrel! Thoughts?

Everything I've heard is they won't bill until they know they have a season. (I do not have DTV)

If there is a lockout will you still auto-renew customers for NFL Sunday Ticket this summer?.Should the labor issue extend into the summer, current NFL Sunday Ticket customers will be auto-renewed and see a $0 payment on their bill. They will only begin paying once the labor dispute is resolved. The customer doesn't pay until they play. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and clearly communicate with our customers about any changes to their NFL SUNDAY TICKET subscription.

If they think they're getting six payments of $53.99 out of me, they can think again.

Isn't the Ticket part of some of their premier packages? I gave it up last year, but am thinking of signing up again. (Streaming games over the internet just didn't cut it for me).

Yep I got the same email today. Although I am going to call them once they really announce the season and bargain about that price. Last year they gave me dicount, at 179 in total, so I am hoping they will do it again today or I might have to think seriously about cancelling it. Living Dallas area, I really don't need it that much. I started with it in 1999 when I was living in Detroit. Just can't shake off that addiction.

Got that one myself today.
Good luck trying to get me to pay early if there is any threat of a loss of football.
They pretty much had to do this.

simply do not pay until you know, pay online for the amount MINUS the package . Alot of these companies if not ALL will work with you when a threat to switch providers is delivered.
