I feel for Ohio State fans. They get screwed in all this BS.

I feel bad for the good, loyal Buckeye fans, not the idiots and the frontrunners. OSU has a reputation for having one of the most obnoxious fanbases in sports. I'm no Michigan fan, but just youtube Ohio State fans and you'll quickly find out how easy it would be to hate them if they were your rival.

I don't believe any program is squeeky clean. But OSU sure seemed to be one of the ones that wouldn't fall from grace so far so fast.

I'm sure NFL teams brass were reading his attorney's statement and the only words they could make out was "Quitter" and "Low Character".

Ohio State has generally been a great program. It's a shame the way things turn out. Though I must admit. After his comment about TCU, I do like seeing E. Gordon Gee with egg on his face.

Of course not. Most programs don't get caught though, and when they do it's almost never to the extent OSU has been.

I think OSU might surprise some people this year. But no means are we poised to win the National Championship but I think a lot of the team will still be under the Tressel influence and band together.

ALL kids in the college world make cash in one way or another. A lot of stupid rules cause a lot of bad press for EVERYONE involved.

I am looking forward to just getting back to football in general. NFL and CFB

It was time regardless.

But want to bet?

OSU will still be the most talented team in the Big 10+2 next year. Their big downfall will be over the next couple of years when Tressel's recruits are gone and the inevitable scholarship limits and other NCAA sanctions take effect.

That's more likely.

I think they'll get sanctions similar to what USC got, maybe a few more scholarship limits or an extra year of probation. At least they won't have the national title revoked like the Trojans did.

I just can't fathom the NCAA ever really laying the wood to a school like Ohio State in the modern era of college football. I think they saw what it did to SMU in the 80s and won't ever come close to doing anything like that again.
