Geez, Broaddus just gushes about this guy. I would love for Arkin to live up to the expectations some have for him.

It will take Arkin 2 years at least, has to get alot stronger, and thats why i want the cowboys to resign Kosier,

Kosier can tutor Arkin, for line calls and playing as OG, etc...:starspin

That was a really good analysis. Broaddus left no stone unturned in that write up. Arkin will be starting by 2012, because the Cowboys really need him now. Dallas doesn't have time to hold this guy's hand.

Is projected as a guard in the NFL, but would not be one bit surprised if he plays center at some point in his career.

First I have heard of this.

This guy oozes with the sound of smart and a physical football player that leaves it all on the field, and not in descrption afterwards. I like him and look forward to seeing him develop in camp. He will go against some good interior play on the Cowboy's own team.

I feel the same way. When we first drafted him I was a bit stumped because I knew so little of him, but by all accounts he has the requisite tools and more importantly the mentality to develop into a starter down the road.

I loved this pick the minute they made it. Did you see his 40-yard dash at the combine? I bet he could knock .3 seconds off it by spending a week with a sprinting coach. But I'm glad he didn't or he would have gone earlier in the draft. He needs some seasoning, but I can't wait to see him in there.

I love the common theme among all of our draft picks: great work ethic, smarter than the average player, many are team captains, relatively versatile, and of course, skilled.

I just hope they can all play at the next level, because they seem like solid people and teammates.
