As reported yesterday, Cowboys wide receiver sued to get his $76,000 engagement ring back after being jilted by Brooke Daniels, former Miss Texas.

Williams has got his ring back. Daniels' mother the ring told TMZ.com (http://www.tmz.com/2011/07/07/roy-williams-dallas-cowboys-engagement-ring-brooke-daniels-miss-texas-usa-76-thousand-dollars/) the ring was returned to Williams' attorney yesterday near Houston.

Good for Roy. She could've saved him a lot of public embarrassment by just giving him the ring back. But no, she had to say she lost it, forcing him to get the insurance company (and consequently the media) involved.

I think there is still some measure of embarrassment in asking a woman to marry you that clearly had other plans....as in the other guy she's already made public. Add to that the fact that the story is on a 24 hour rotation on ESPN....

True. I guess I was talking more about asking for the ring back which I see nothing wrong with. As for her having another guy already, just shows what type of person she is. If you don't like the relationship, be an adult be honest and move on. This side relationship or holding on til you find someone else is for losers...
