Excellent Choice NYC.

I might go with Mr. Meyagi but can't really go wrong with your choice of Master Poe. Bang! Right out of the box you hit it out on that one.

I will however give a mention to one of my absolute favorite actors, Morgan Freeman. His portrayal of Principal Will Clark in "Lean On Me" is simply awe inspiring.

I thought about picking him before choosing Jaime Escalante / Stand and Deliver. He was a principal rather than specifically "a teacher", though I'm sure more than an acceptable choice.

It's hard to list only one. A few of my favorites (in no particular order). A few aren't really classroom teachers, but that's okay:

Dewey Finn (School of Rock)
Mr. Miyagi
Yoda
William Forrester
Richard Vernon (Breakfast Club)
Howard Brackett (In & Out)
Ed Rooney (Ferris Bueller's Day Off)
John Kimble

Ed Rooney (Ferris Bueller's Day Off)

I wanted to name him too, even though he was a principle. His role cracked me up.

I can't find anything to add to this. I'm with you.

She should.
