Tony Brown: 30 years, 6'3 305lbs with 3.5 sacks last year.

Brown, 30, has started every game he has played for the Titans the last four seasons. He registered 3.5 sacks last season after signing a three-year contract extension worth $17 million as a restricted free agent. The eight-year veteran was a Pro Bowl alternate after finishing with five sacks in 2009.

Cowboys sign him to replace Bowen?

I would probably take this guy over Jenkins simply because he is probably just as good and will be cheaper.

Probably because of all the "We should sign this guy" stuff lol but speculation doesn't hurt....until it turns into obsession. Nnamdi!

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not familiar with his game nor know whether he can play 3-4 DE.

But he's received all-pro votes the last two seasons, so there's some people who think he's pretty damn good.

No, basically I was saying that this isn't a video game, where you just take a look at every single free agent and "plug them in" based on numbers.

I don't think he's a good fit. 30 years old as a DL? Wrong side of 30 within a season for those high-impact positions.

What? Do you think we are going to give him a six year $42M contract? 30 isn't dead, it just means do not break the bank signing him to a fat long term deal.

The guy is a serviceable player. If you can get him for a good price, it would go a good pick up. The man can play the run and generate a pass rush. Definitely an upgrade over Bowen or Hatcher and many even Spears.

His numbers are pretty comparable and in some areas better than Jenkins. He does have injury issues.

Don't you know as soon as you turn 30 you aren't good anymore. Where have you been?;)

Whether he is actually better than Jenkins could be debated, but I don't think he is. I think he would definitely will come cheaper than Jenkins though.

He has very bad knee and it is almost sure that he isn't capable to play in NFL with this knee. (acording to my friend , who is huge titans fan)

The #Titans told Brown's agent he failed a physical and the team "wanted to go in another direction."

Apparently he failed a physical (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=ArzCMWpfTmAiBeqE8Qu6wTr.uLYF?slug=capres s-fbn_titans_brown-7633569). That is why is he got cut.

Guess he is not an option after all.

His knee is all jacked up, that's why the Titans released him. He's not gonna be able to play this season.

When's the last time we spent a high draft pick on a DL? Spears 6 years ago?

None is needed, unless someone answers as you did for both myself and Cas...but you go Chief. You apparently feel you are on a roll.

AND have some kind of high ground on style.

Which puts you about twenty-five years junior here....and your direction just floundered by your own account. Less insults...:)

Maybe Reality will explain this to you also.

Huh? :lmao2:

Try responding...and then defending your actions. Instead of going for a hearing test.

I'll play tit for tat with your obstinance all day long, Joe Cool.

As you imply not understanding and a lack of being affected. Running directly to play acting instead. For someone who plays off as being Stone Cold serious about most things, you don't meet any measure of selling your fake laughter as well. Especially when your weak attempt at justifying reasons you clung to on your own topic, went lame.
