A sense of urgency permeated the Alamodome (http://www.mysanantonio.com/?controllerName=search&action=search&channel=sports%2Fcowboys&search=1&inlineLink=1&query=%22Alamodome%22) on Thursday.

From players putting serious effort into the morning walkthrough that opened the Dallas Cowboys (http://www.mysanantonio.com/?controllerName=search&action=search&channel=sports%2Fcowboys&search=1&inlineLink=1&query=%22Dallas+Cowboys%22)' training camp, to fans sprinting at the start of the afternoon practice to claim prime autograph-hunting seats, it was obvious everybody was happy to have the lockout finally behind them.

“Daddy had to go back and earn some biscuits, pay some bills,” linebacker Bradie James (http://www.mysanantonio.com/?controllerName=search&action=search&channel=sports%2Fcowboys&search=1&inlineLink=1&query=%22Bradie+James%22) said. “It was time for us.”
