But see, had we signed any of those guys the same people now saying it's good that we passed on them would be talking about how great Jerry was for taking initiative and what great, affordable signings they were. A lot of people tend to frame their arguments based on what has happened. Am I glad we didnt "overpay" for some players? Yes, but standing pat like we are and simply hoping that a couple players who would be camp fodder almost anywhere else will somehow step up and perform well in starting roles for us isnt the way to win.

Jerry said over the weekend the team would sign one maybe two safties and possibly a defensive end.

Today the resigned Jason Hatcher to a three year deal for 6 million..

I see the same strategy for Safety..There are a lot of them left out there and Dallas/Jerry is playing a waiting game and driving down the price. It makes perfect sense..The free agents left out there are not seeing a lof of offers..

That would've made me if Jerry signed Nnamdi, Weddle, Breaston, Plaxico, Randy Moss, Cromartie, Huff, Jason Babin and Cullen Jenkins. That fills every hole we need and then some! That's how you set your team up for success! Because I want to feel like a winner in the offseason! Oh btw, I heard Tatupu is a FA now too, "get em Jerruh!
