DeMarcus Ware has never been one to make bold predictions.

Whether it’s his individual sacks or even with the overall team’s production, the NFL’s reigning sack leader tends to let his performance do most of the talking.
But when asked about the team finishing 6-10 last year and if this 2011 squad is any better, Ware didn’t mind voicing his thoughts.

On a serious note, nothing would please me more than to have Ware develop into a vocal leader of this team. He's one of the best players in the league, they will all listen when he speaks.

It seems like he's talking a little more this year; I like this side of Ware. It seems like this team is making a point of being more vocal than what they have the past, which is a good thing.

Absolutely agree here... We all know Ware is just a freak of nature, but what if he was to get an angry side.. Just a side of I am going to whoop your *** up and down this field no matter how many people you put on me.. Just a touch of Hostility of sorts..

I saw the media feed of his comment and while he did not look angry he was very confident in what he and his teammates are doing.

Ware is never going to be confused with Ray Lewis when it comes to emotional statements but I do not have a problem of Ware stepping forward and taking on a more vocal role.

This sound bite is good news because after DeMarcus, the defensive talent level plummets. And I am talking front line, LBs and secondary.

Having said that, I'm holding to 10-6, not because of the defense but because we have two great receivers, a good QB and a potentially good RB corps.
