OBSERVATION DECK:
Here's what I saw from the Cowboys' three-hour training camp practice Sunday afternoon from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington:

• LB Brandon Williams had two good plays early. On the first play of team drills, he would have sacked Stephen McGee. A few plays later, he beat OT Sam Young for another would-be sack of McGee.

• Undrafted rookie free agent kicker Dan Bailey (Oklahoma State) had his worst day of camp. He was 1-for-4 on field goal attempts. He made a 29-yarder but proceeded to miss from 34, 39 and 44 yards. Meanwhile, starter David Buehler was 3-for-4. His 34-yarder was wide right. Overall, Buehler is now 35-for-49 in camp and Bailey is 37-for-46.

Why the heck didn't Dallas grab him??? He's always been a Cowboys killer with FG's, never missed while in Philly!

with our luck he would be a real Cowboy killer if he became our kicker.

He missed a few last year that cost them games IIRC. With our luck he would continue to dissolve, although he will probably still be a very good kicker for someone else.

I wanted the kid that Philly drafted to replace Akers. Hennery? That guy was money in college and had a VERY strong leg.

You and I both Leon. I really wanted that kid. Guess I'll have to wait for Tucker (Texas) to come out. :)

you can't have that big a hole at kicker
Buehler's big plus is now gone because every kicker can kick it into or out of the endzone now.

Their observations are so anemic.
