I would like to add an extra 2nd and 3rd
I want to spend the entire draft on defense, except for picking a Guard.
I want 2 CBs, 3 Safeties, 1 OLB, 1 ILB, 1 DL
based on the Walter Football rankings....
1 - S Robert Lester - Alabama
2 - OLB Vinny Curry - Marshall
2 - CB Casey Hayward - Vanderbilt
3 - CB Coryell Judie - A&M
3 - S Blake Gideon - Texas
4 - S Trumaine Johnson - Montana
5 - DE Armond Armstead - USC
6 - ILB Emmanuel Acho - Texas
7 - OG ?

Right now I think CB is the most likely position for round 1. We're probably going to be looking for a replacement for Newman next year and I believe Scandrick is a free agent.
NFL Draftscout has 5 CB's among it's top 26 players. The highest rated safety is at 32 so I think CB is the more likely option if they address the secondary in round 1.

I'd project our needs list for next year's draft to be....
1. DE
2. C
3. S
4. G
5. CB
Obviously free agency can change that in a hurry.

Did Joe hi-jack your user name?
Trumaine Johnson is a corner. Are you projecting a move to safety?

I was looking on different sites and the one I paid the most attention to had him at S. I could be wrong, especially since I have never followed Montana in my life. I start at WalterFootball.com and then go from there through their draft database.

He's a corner....and a pretty good one in the FCS. Certainly doesn't mean he couldn't be moved to safety.
If I ran a team, I think I'd draft a corner that had size and could tackle and would try him at S every year until I found one. Usually if a guy is good enough to play corner, teams leave them there though. A dynamic safety can change your defense though and there are never enough of them.
Jimmy Wilson was Johnson's teammate. He originally played corner, but ended up in prison for about a year. When he came back, they moved him to safety. Ended up getting drafted by Miami where they started him out at safety, but I think they ended up moving him back to corner full time.
