ARLINGTON, Texas -- Big, tough football players generally don’t fear anything. Cowboys defensive end Jason Hatcher has a new phobia: elevators.

“I went through a little rehab this morning,” Hatcher said. “They talked to me so I can get over my fear of elevators. Now I’m always going to have someone with me.”

“Once it dropped down like six inches and didn’t move I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding,’” Hatcher said. “I pushed the floor [button] again and it didn’t move. I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m stuck.’ I was almost panicking so I ripped the door open like boom and there was a little crack in the other door so I yelled help.”

“We’ve got to check those weight limits,” coach Jason Garrett joked.
