I tend to agree with you. He had the best season of his career after not playing for 3 years. Teams game planned for him as a rookie, but he caught the league off balance last year and had a nothing to lose mentality.

Wow it keeps getting worse for Eagles. I thought last week against Baltimore was smokescreen, because I don't think Baltimore is that good anymore.

Either way, I didn't expect this bad from Eagles. On the other hand, so far, NE is looking scary good, even for pre-season.

But we wont know for sure till second half of regular season anyway. Even first half can be sometimes misleading in regular season.

Although, when a team shows weakness in pre-season, seems like 90% of time, thats what they are. Just that, this season is different, since teams didn't have a lot of time to prepare, we have to expect some wierdness.

I know it's only "preseason", but fans (and players) tend to conveniently use that term contingent on their team's performance. If their performance was good, then it's "man, we looked great today, we are really setting the tone for the season". If it's bad, it's "hey, we won't panic, it's only preseason. We will learn from this and get better, it was vanilla on both sides of the ball, yes".

They have areas of weakness themselfs and I expect Dallas will have some hard fought games with them but I also expect us to win.
