Starters to play longer
Jason Garrett hasn't met with his assistants to determine playing time for Sunday's preseason game against the Chargers. But he expects his starters to play more than they did last week.
The Cowboys' starting offense played only one series last week, with Tony Romo driving the offense 56 yards in nine plays before a David Buehler field goal. The defense played one series as well, giving up a 12-play, 74-yard drive before a Broncos field goal.
