Roger Staubach lobbied hard for Drew Pearson’s inclusion into the Ring of Honor.

"Roger just laid in front of the train [for Pearson]," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said.

Staubach, who served as chairman of the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee, said Pearson deserved inclusion as much as any former Cowboy.
