Q: Mario Kurn led the FCS with 17 sacks and had 27 tackles for losses last season. How good is he, and how good can he be?
A: Mario is a special athlete. He has the athleticism of a strong safety or linebacker, and he's playing in a three-point stance as a defensive end. So he creates trouble for offensive linemen trying to block him one on one. Mario has very good speed and quickness, and he can mix in power rushes as well. We will continue to push him because we think he can continue to grow and develop as a football player.
