I've been checking a million sites like an fool for this Howard story and you'd think the "Official" Dallas Cowboys Website....home of Spags and the rest would have even an INKLING OF INSITE!! NO! Instead they have a picture of Rivera and news that we signed Ferguson
And all we're doing here is speculating....
Sorry for the ran but it's p!ssing me off... I've deleted the "Official " site off my favorites since it's as uselful as a pair of ___ on a bull.

The last I heard, which was yesterday evening on ESPN radio, is that things weren't going to plan and it looked like the trade wasn't going to fall through. Rumour was that we were going to give them a 2nd round and Dat Nguyen. I personally dont want to see Dat go.

The 'official website' is garbage. They have Spags for one but they never print speculation or anything close to the matter. Don't look to them for any breaking information 'cause you aren't going to find it.
Truth be told, I never read our homepage. I don't have a reason to. You're better off reading JJT or even this board than going there.

Yeah it sucks, but I've never known dc.com to update its site on the weekends unless it's during the season. In the offseason, you're lucky to get the daily ranch report and an article or two during the week. Only thing I look forward to in the offseason on dc.com is Mick's Mail.

Developing info is posted here well in advance of the official website.

Just so long as I get the information when the deal is done Ill be happy. I think that fans sometimes are so nosy about pending deals that the leaks can cause other teams to swoop in and steal the deal. Parcells needs to be silent on what hes doing all the way around in order to protect future deals. Hes probably even thinking that his secrecy might lead to a steal in the latter parts of FA. Just my thoughts on this after reading in another thread about people wanting a public confirmation of 3-4 or 4-3.

Why would the Cowboys alert the rest of the League as to what they're doing? dc.com is run by the team. I sure as heck wouldn't look for the Cowboys to be starting or proliferating any rumors.

Spags does nothing but hate on the Cowboys. All he does is write articles that dwell on how bad Dallas is. How we still don't have an Aikman, or a Haley, or an Emmitt. Or how this guy is not the future. Or how that guy is not the answer. I think I could find more Cowboys support on Extremeskins.com.
I think he's an Eagles fan.

I agree with you there, they shouldn't post rumors or leak anything about what the 'boys MIGHT do. But when dc.com (the official site of the 'boys) is not publishing ANYTHING about all the info that's being reported on media sites all over the web and print, then they're slacking. Even if they're just re-publishing a JJT report or an FWST report. Post something to show they're aware, not just a one-liner at the bottom of a Spags article under his Mick Shots.

I believe Spags is a packer backer. We had this discussion on another board.

I searched all of the main Saints outlets and there is nothing new to report, just a rehash of what went on yesterday.
