The Dallas Cowboys auditioned former Washington Redskins offensive guard Derrick Dockery today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
Dockery, 30, is a former Redskins third-round draft pick from the University of Texas who has also played for the Buffalo Bills.

I'd rather they try out an OT than an OG. While they are young and lack experience, I think we are better off at guard than at back up tackle.

It's good to know that they're looking though. I'd rather them be prepared in case our guys bust out bad in the opener. Give them a quick hook and save the season if necessary.
