IRVING -- Dallas Cowboys starting cornerback Mike Jenkins suffered an injury during Wednesday's practice, according to team owner Jerry Jones.

Jones said Jenkins did not suffer a setback to his neck, which was injured during training camp and forced him to miss the entire preseason.

While the starting cornerbacks never took a snap during a game this preseason, it’s starting to look like it might extend into the regular season as well.
Mike Jenkins suffered a knee injury in the middle of Wednesday's practice and will undergo an MRI for further details.

Terence Newman, who has been nursing a groin injury since early in training camp, did not practice again Wednesday and owner/GM Jerry Jones all but ruled him out for Sunday night’s game with the Jets....
