oh lord.
Two more systems coming off the Cape Verdes as well, but I figured I wait until they get at least beyond INVEST status before adding 'em in.

Latest official Nate track has him heading right for Brownsville. That would probably be good for Texas if he does that and continues up the central part of Texas.

Change his name to Peyton.
Looks like Texas has a force field. Essentially that is what that high pressure system is.

When we drive down to my inlaws in the Rio Grande Valley it seems like there is a permanent force field in place. It can be raining hard but once you enter the valley nothing. :laugh1:

Nate is wanting to visit Andy in Xiawowitsahardcitytospell. Either that or threats by the Zetas to not interfere with their trafficking corridor in the Valley were taken pretty seriously by Nate.

Sucks that one of the long time members of HardCoreWeather.com and someone that was pretty instrumental in helping folks out during Ike, had her son's house burn to the ground yesterday. We need some of that rain in the worst way.

Just saw some projection runs that take Maria right up against the Eastern seaboard next week. Won't affect our game a bit, but next weekend's games played on the Atlantic coast will most certainly be if she slides even a little more westward before making her turn.
Given the windsheer cutting across the GOM and the northern portions of Florida, I don't think that will be the case.
