Either Bill's part is already worked out, or nothing is imminent.
Basically, we still don't know anything.

Wouldn't say that. Stephen Jones does most of the negotiating anyway. He just tosses the numbers JJ and Bill's way for approval.
As for the original thread, was he being interviewed or something??

Not really. BP doesn't have to be in the negotiations as that is Jerry's and Stephen's arena. BP just has to say hey, I want the guy and who he would be willing to give up and then JJ and Co. does the rest. I don't even think Parcells is even at the PCs when they are introduced.

If they are wanting Howard, as it seems they are, then I agree....this time will be spent with Stephen Jones and Jerry trying to come to terms first with NO for trade compensation and then with Howard and His agent concerning the contract.

I don't think BP not being here means anything. Bill just picks the players (and I'm sure he has been consulted), Jerry and Stephen work the deals.
He's in the stands - they ask him a bunch of lame Larussa questions.
It goes back to the booth and Reynolds, Kruk hammer the interviewer for not asking the hard questions at QB. Which Drew will start.
They go back to Parcells and he talks around it, says they are all in the mix but you have to remember Bledsoe has a lot more experience.
Good to see him on a vacation.

Yeah they interviewed him at the game.
He looked relaxed, and as if he was having a good time.
They asked him who the starting QB was going to be, and he said I don't know, but tell Harold Reynolds I could use him to back up Julius. Ask him what he thinks about that.
Then he started laughing.
They asked him about the QB again, and he said we will have to see how things play out in the summer. Obviously Bledsoe has a lot of experience on the other 2, but we will see.
That is all I caught.

doesnt have anything to do with it...BP has probably told Jerruh exactly what to do in terms of trade compensation and is leaving it to JJ and SJ to work on the financials...he never attends PC's anyway

And how many Super Bowl winning Qbs have you had in your history???????
IF you take Hutch, Quincy, Ryan Leaf  , Wright and Clint Storener they all have one thing in common with McNabb. They all have the same number of Super Bowl wins.

As people have pointed out, Stephen & JJ do the negotiating. There's also this magic device called a "cell phone." You can carry it with you anywhere & people can call you (or you call them) wherever you are. To, you know, discuss things like how player negotiations are going.

House also has the same number of Super Bowl wins as McNabb.
Other people with the same number of Super Bowl wins as McNabb are Steven Hawking, Pamela Anderson, Oprah Winfrey, David Spade, the little kid on Lost, Princess Diana, the Marshall Tucker Band, Jesse Jackson, Charlie Sheen, Martin Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Denise Richards, Alf, AC/DC, George Foreman, Roseanne, Hillary Clinton, Condeleeza Rice, and some 10-year-old in Ethiopia.
I predict all of those people will get a Super Bowl win before McNabb.:)

Actually, Jesse Jackson got a ring as a member of the NY Jets who won SB III (though granted, he never saw the field).
