View Full Version : Any chance at all that Jerry Jones would be interested in Orlando Pace?

How about this year's 1st (#20) and next year's 2nd for Orlando Pace? Just throwing this out there. I read that Orlando Pace is considering the Houston Texans and the word is that Houston would only give a first rounder and something else for him, so I'm guessing the Rams are having a difficult time finding someone who will give up two firsts.
With Rivera's status in doubt, we still need to fix that right side of the offensive line and with no guards for trade, the next best thing to fix is that right tackle position. And if Rivera came back, can you imagine an offensive line with Flozell Adams, Larry Allen, Al Johnson, Marco Rivera, and Orlando Pace? Our defense wouldn't have to do squat because we'd control the ball the entire game. :D Every game would look like that Pats game against the Colts in the playoffs because we'd control it for 40+ minutes.
Would Pace or Adams be willing to switch to the right side? Would it work out? I know Pace isn't the same fella he used to be and he's getting up there at 29 but I think he could still give us a few more good years. Hey, I know it would never happen but if Nors can throw out a new Ty Law thread every week, I can at least dream about having one of the greatest offensive lines in NFL history. :)

What is Pace looking for as far as contract? He probably wants big time money. Sure is worth looking into, but he would cost a bundle and I doubt Dallas could make anything work.
NO thanks.
I think Pace's best years are behind him.

He wants Jonathan Ogden and Walter Jones money. You think the boys are willing to pay that? Methinks not.
I don't want that scrub. When he keeps his mouf shut he is okay. Not for what it would cost.

We don't have the money but he'd be great at RT for the next few years. In fact he probably can still beat out Flo at LT. But RT would be a great place for him at his age. Or even guard. Except he'll want top five at least LT money.
