When did they start?

They said he was working out... not sure if it was a controlled practice...

If he would have kept himself in shape and kept his job in Dallas he would have been a UFA this offseason coming off back to back starting seasons as a starting nosetackle. No telling how much money he flushed down the toilet. Certainly a lesson about taking advantage of an opportunity while its available.

Sucks for Blade. He definitely has the ability to be a very good DT in the NFL. Too bad his dedication is severely lacking.

They said he was working out... not sure if it was a controlled practice...Lol. Sometimes sarcasm works and sometimes it don't.

Well, that sucks for blade and also a little for Dallas. He was an experienced back up. Maybe bringing Hand in will look a little better now. Now that Blade can't work out at all, he will probably baloon out to 400 lbs.

Now do the Henson twits see why we didn't send him OR Romo to Europe?

Because they're side projects - and there is no reason to risk the side project to injury.

I think Sione Pouha and Jason Jefferson are both going to be solid DT's, at least, and can be had late in the second day. See nfldraftcountdown for info. These guys have suprising quickness and hustle for their size. During the NFL combine drills, they BOTH performed exceptionally well.

Yeah, it'd be nice to get Hand as a backup.

Yeah, I'd like to see them bring in some 2nd day rookies to fill those backup slots and groom them behind Ferguson and Carson. Better upside then bringing in a higher priced vet like Hand would be.

The ultimate 3-4 NT occupying the center, both G's, and a FB :p:

it happened at practice today in Orlando FL

Blade was scheduled to play for the Berlin Thunder this spring after re-signing with the Cowboys in January, but after his latest setback, he's likely done with playing football through the end of the calander year.

He is expected to rehab in Al over the next couple of months....

Yikes, it's still March and already two injuries. It better not be one of those years... :banghead:
