Poor week for wrestling ratings.

The 9/12 edition of Raw did a 2.72 rating with 3,856,000 viewers. The first hour did a 2.72 and the second did a 2.71.



TNA Impact Wrestling on Thursday, September 8 scored a 1.02 rating, down from a 1.06 rating last week.

Bad week, NFL can be the cause. Probably is, either way 1.02 for a TNA show that drew 3500 people(it was their Huntsville show) and a 2.72 for any RAW is horid. I don't like to see this

I haven't watched RAW yet but my nephew told me it was boring. I guess I will see...I don't care one way or the other about ratings. Guess I would if the show was cancelled but I don't worry about that.

Yep the opening games of Thursday Night and Monday Night football absolutely would be the cause of this. Probably more so this year, than ever, because of the lockout and everyone being even more ready for football.

This isn't surprising in the least. I didn't watch all of RAW, then again I never do anymore and havent in years, but I enjoyed the CM Punk/HHH stuff as I have been for weeks now.

Finally watched RAW. It was a bit boring...emphasis on tag teams which is fine but there aren't any teams so far that have anything really special to care about. Maybe they have plans to bring in some new guys. Who really wants to see ADR's announcer wrestle? I don't. I really like Sheamus as a face. He's impressive & the bar is high for his future. Punk was good...I much prefer HHH when he is in somebody's face. I won't ever get use to his suits & "hi, I'm the boss" act.

I've been a fan of pro wrestling for decades. If somebody else isn't fine by me...it has times when there are great wrestling & wrestlers & then it goes thru bad periods. Same as the Cowboys! I'm still a fan for life. I am guessing most fans that post on the wrestling threads feel the same.
