Yep. It was a busted play and the ball took a perfect hop for Smith. To me that is a hard situation for the defense especially in trying to maintain coverage.

As for prediction go I can't help but see too many fans thinking any of these game are easy and making these lopsided predictions. It is one thing to predict a win but so often people in here are predicting total blow outs in a league that has so many close games.

I don't think the predicition was that unreasonable. The Cowboys new defense is a new thing, and Sanchez did have over 300 yards so its not as if the Jets passing game was shut down completely. I agree that 28 still seemed like a little much, but the Cowboys went into the game still needing to prove themselves. The 49ers still scored 24, so that's not much off.
