McCann is a bit of a surprise

Very much so.

Must be Walker showed them a lot more than what McCann has.

McCann was the one who gave up the TD to Burriss in the Jets game... He's been JAG honestly.

Can McCann go back to practice squad? Walker can't and I thought looked solid. Tighter than Ball and McCann were in coverage.

Savy vet was/is needed back there with Newman and Jenkins and Scandrick all dinged up and Newman and Jenkins injury prone.

Once again, fans were confusing McCann's 99-yard pick-six as an indication he was a good coverage guy.

The reality was Hakeem Nicks took a bad route to the ball and McCann jumped in front of a ball that was coming straight at him. Good play on his part.

However, what folks don't want to talk about is how McCann was complete toast the rest of the game, giving up completion after completion, and that was a trend that carried on the rest of the year and this season.

He did seem to tighten it up more this year than last, but he was still giving up plays.

On that TD he gave up to Plexico, Burress actually had the time to turn around, backpedal and positon for the ball. McCann, who was trailing, was either so late on the play, or didn't have the recognition skills to realize the ball was coming and failed to even turn his head around and locate the ball.

McCann has been bad in coverage since day 1, and hasn't shown anything in the return game. This shouldn't be a huge shocker.
