Tony Romo's performance last week was an award-winner.

The Cowboys quarterback was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after throwing for 345 yards and two touchdowns, despite a rib fracture.

Well deserved. It should have been 3 TDs not 2. Don't buy Holley's comment that he ran out of steam; he allowed his emotions to take over & started celebrating too early. Heard his teammates & friends have really been riding him about it too.

Great news!

I said in my weekly column that Romo should get the Player of the Week award based on what he had to endure and accomplish to get back on the field then lead the Cowboys to victory.

His performance was better than Brady's or Rodger's.
