This is serious guys. No joking around, alright?

We have glaring need at the safety position.

There is a very nice option on the table as I speak.

It has been rumored that the guy has been talking to the Dallas Cowboys also.

The player is Donovan Darius - a big hitting safety. . .

Now, I know some of you will say - in your best whinny voice - that he's not a "ballhawk" FS.

Well for those of you that know a little something, you don't have to be a ballhawk.

Darren Woodson was not a ballhawk and we had success with him playing safety with Roy.

Zimmy took away the middle of the field with TWO big hitters. Teams were afraid of those two safeties.

IMO it is more important to get a guy like Darius in here than it is Howard.

I am in the process of assembling a Donovan Darius bandwagon.

I predict the Cowboys WILL make this move.

Anyone who wants on the wagon, let me know. You will be included in the bandwagon that will be part of my sig until the Darius situation pans out.

Bandwagoners, hop on. . .the rest of you watch and learn.

howard Deal must be getting old? I'm all for getting Darius but how much would it cost? Can we afford both? If not then I would rather have Howard.....I wish we could have both but as my momma used to say spit in one hand and wish in the other and see which fills up the fastest...... THat said having one is better than none so I say lets get one deal done then worry about Daruis

Screw Howard.

A hard hitting safety will bring the D back to Dallas.

If we can have both - great, but if not Darius should be our #1 priority.

The possibilities are endless.

Darius is ok, but hes past his prime. I'd rather draft a young guy with deep coverage kinda speed who can take over hte deep coverage responsibilities and allow RW to play closer to the line. Adding Darius means that RW would still have to cover deep a lot. Add to that he probably wants a lot of money relative to the position, and I dont see how we can get him. i dont think ive seen any posts about us interested in him and im glad. We could easily get a good FS type in the 2nd round. My favorite atm would have to be Marlin Jackson and put him at FS.

Man, I would love to have Darius, but to even suggest a Saftey has the impact on a defense equal to or greater than a RDE is really pushing it.

I really like Darius as a SS, but all things being equal I will take Darren Howard.

Makes no sense to have (2) SS's on the team. We need a true FS, in the truest sense of what a true FS does.

But why is Dallas on his visit list. And we let Sharper, Pellet Gun Smith and Tebucky Smith go with no interest.

Who is our FS TARGET?

There are no other visits FOR DALLAS I can find on the web other than Law. WHY? :)
