And there were a few that wanted the Cowboys to go out and sign him. Glad they got ignored. The guy was not worth it. I didn't think he was worth it when he was healthy and he is never healthy.

I can't remember a player who suffered more season-ending injuries.

Chad Pennington and Mike Sherrard come to mind... but Sanders probably has 'em beat.

I think they should map Bobs genome to figure out what the hell is going on that makes him an injury lock every year.

It's a 5'9" 190 lbs. guy who plays the game as if he were 6'5" 250.

Look at his injury history and how many times he gets MAJOR injuries every season. At this rate, he is just gonna wreck every part of his body long-term if he keeps trying to make a comeback.

Sanders should just sit out most of the regular season, and then sign up with a playoff bound team. That way, his few games before injury could be more weighty.
That's pretty much what he did with the Colts in their SB year.

Yes he did.

or Mario Williams, or Patrick Willis all three were more deserving than Sanders

You could argue that but if any of the others won that year I would say they stole the award from Ware. :D

Yeah he's never out a couple weeks or even a month. It's always season ending with him. He needs to call it a career.

Well if you keep him in for one or two series a game maybe he makes it through the year.

This guy was actually still in the league? I honestly thought that by now that no one would have bothered to give this guy a contract knowning they'd get no more then 2-3 games out of him.
