Georgia woman wins $25Million in Lotto Mistake

Basically, the woman is out of work, goes into a store to buy a MegaMillions lotto ticket. The clerk gave her a Powerball ticket by mistake. She told the clerk, and the clerk said she could keep the Powerball ticket and handed her the megamillions ticket she actually paid for.

As fate would have it, that Powerball ticket that she recieved by mistake, was the winning ticket, and she is walking away with $15,000,000 before taxes due to that lol.

Why can't I be that lucky?

That does sound about right.

I guess it's better off that way. If you win, everybody who has ever known you will try to get a share. You have to burn a lot of bridges, and keep a low key in order to live with sudden wealth like that.
