Fox Football analyst, and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Troy Aikman joined the Musers on KTCK-AM on Thursday to discuss the Dallas Cowboys. Here are some highlights:
On the Cowboys' 2-2 start to the season:
Some people probably think they should be 0-4, while others might think they should be 4-0. I think in light of whether it's Tony's play or the team's play, they're probably where they should be at 2-2. It's a quarterback's league, and when he plays well, they team usually wins. That's how its gone for the Cowboys.
On Tony Romo's interceptions in the second half:
The first interception was a throw you just can't make; I don't know if he saw Bobby Carpenter or not. Even after that I share the thoughts as most fans probably had that, 'OK, this is still a long way from being a game.' The next interception I don't think was his fault. The blame should probably go to Laurent Robinson.
His thoughts on Tony Romo's future with the team:
I think Tony's a terriffic talent, wonderful person, great character, and I still believe he's going to go on and do really great things. I understand some of the skepticism, and until he does it there's always going to be the questions out there.
