Goat or Gloat: Tony Romo the Dallas Cowboys QB AKA Whipping Boy

Romo is taking the heat for the losses this season but it's not all his fault.
Tony Romo is probably the most talked about player over the last five weeks. One week its about how great he is, a leader, a clutch player. Then the next week it is all about how much he stinks. How he can’t win under pressure and makes critical mistakes at the worst moments. While much of that is true, Romo is over scrutinized much like any other QB in the league.
I remember the times before Peyton Manning won his Super Bowl. Everybody said he can’t win the big games. He can’t pull it out when it really counts. Everyone was on Manning for just not getting it done. Then once he won, all the pressure was off. No one says that much anymore about him. He is a Super Bowl winning QB and that makes all the difference. Most will agree that Manning is a better QB than Romo, but the scrutiny is the same.
