Jerry Jones was asked Tuesday morning on his radio show on 105.3 FM why has Bryant disappeared in the second half of games this season.
"I think that has kind of just happened. It certainly is not a deliberate thing," Jones said. "It can be because the defense maybe has something to do with it.
"Dez needs to concentrate. I'm not being critical of him, but he needs to continue to concentrate on his route running because there's a reason for harping on running correct routes even though you're a great receiver and that is it gets you open and it causes other people to get open as well if each receiver will run his route."

That's a legitimate criticism towards Bryant.
Jimmy Robinson has to stay on him about it. All the truly great receivers had a common trait (R. Moss being an exception) in that they were all great route runners. Rice, Irvin, Andre Reed, Cris Carter, Largent, Holt, Bruce, Wayne, Harrison, et cetera.

if JJ is saying what i think he is, then this is a HUGE concern
you take this along with what broaddus said about 3 of 6 romo interceptions being Dez-related and perhaps it is not all on romo

Well make the kid practice them more and more and more until he learns them if in fact this is the case.
Stay on his butt at all times if you have to till you get it through his head.

Garrett and Romo are making it clear that if he doesn't concentrate and run the right routes then won't get the ball.
If Dez needs Robinson on him about it too then he's got some real issues.

That ain't no revelation. You think Tony just stopped looking Dez way every game at half time for 5 straight games ... child please.

The best thing might be to relegate him to punt returns until he gets his head on straight.
Put Miles, Otree and Robinson out there in the 3 WR sets.
Let Dez out there once in awhile under highly controlled circumstances to see if he has heeded the message. Once he is doing what he is supposed to be doing put him in more and more snaps.

Who lets his Dez sloppy self onto the field? We got Wade around to blame?

Shut up JJ.
This is a team game. It is obvious that Dez is being shut out the 2nd halves of games. Like I said, most Cowboys fans are dumb.
