Asante Samuel? It seems the Eagles have made it known that he could be available before the trade deadline.
Now, I have no idea what the asking price actually is. But, if you were Jerry and dangled the pick and the Eagles nibbled, would you pull the trigger?
Oops the title should read "give" not "ive". My bad.

I'll play. No. He's good, but I'd rather draft a CB/safety in the first 3 rounds. Youth movement needs to keep on.

I watched Samuels dodge more tackles in that 49ers game than Mike Jenkins has passed on in his entire career. Even if he's as good in coverage as he ever was, I've got no use for a cb who can't or won't tackle.
That's on top of my "never trade anything to the Philadelphia Eagles for anything" policy.

Really? I have no problem trading with a division rival as long as it's making us better (and we're not getting fleeced in terms of compensation). So you wouldn't, for example, trade for LeSean McCoy purely because he was an Eagle? Obviously he's not getting traded, just for arguments sake.
IIRC Sean Lee was and Anthony Spencer were acquired in draft trades w/ the Eagles.

I'd give up a half eaten ham sammich and a thrice used condom...
He doesn't fit what we need...

I wouldn't give up a 3rd for him here simply because he would get torched too much when asked to play man to man.
You'd need Rex to allow him to play a lot of zone for him to be effective.
